Phyllis
Hall says there are Angels Among Us. She has three. One is
a 25-year-old living daughter. Her two sons were killed in
a car accident in 1993. Her struggle and her ability to overcome
the grief and despair are a testament to the strength of the
human spirit and the power of love.
Through
faith and determination, Phyllis found comfort in the unbounded
love she still felt for her two sons. It was that love that
inspired Hall to create With Me Always Angelheart
Jewelry. This exquisite expression of love is formed by the
simple outline of an angel with heart-shaped wings. Angelhearts
can be adorned with a loved ones birthstone and worn
as lapel pins, tie tacks, necklaces and earrings.
Phyllis encloses original poems with each piece of jewelry.
Her company, Mother of Angels, based in Carlsbad, California,
gives a portion of each sale to the Jenna Druck Foundation,
a nonprofit organization in San Diego that helps families
deal with the loss of a child, and other charities.
One
night, two years after losing my sons, I began thinking about
a mothers love how amazingly strong it is --
and how my own love for my sons kept growing. Even though
I couldnt touch them. Our love had reached a whole new
level since they passed on. The design for an Angelheart just
popped into my head and I grabbed a pencil and drew it. I
always called my eldest son Angelheart.
Phyllis
contracted with a local jeweler to craft necklaces from her
design. The same day they were finished, Phyllis wore one
out of the store. Another customer noticed it and asked the
jeweler if she could buy one. Phyllis says that since that
first time, she frequently sells Angelhearts right off
my neck.
Many
of her customers are mothers giving them to their children
or sons or daughters buying them for their mothers. Husbands
give them to their wives as an expression of love. Many just
fall in love with the patented design.
